His interest in mountain landscapes has allowed Daniel Rericha to capture some of the most breathtaking seasonal colours of europe’s forests
Born in 1972, Daniel Rericha has lived in the town of Krupka in the Czech Republic for his entire life. However, a passion of his is travelling to interesting places, which he strives to capture in his idyllic photographs.
Daniel started taking photography seriously in 2000, when he acquired his first SLR camera and lens kit; four years later he switched to a digital SLR camera body. He gains inspiration from online photographic galleries and is always open to advice from other photographers. He is continually working at improving his post-processing skills, which he feels are a vital aspect of digital photography.
Daniel’s preferred subject matter is mountain landscapes. To view more of his work, visit www.danielrericha.cz.

Autumn Ore Mountains ‘There’s an almost surreal, fairy-tale quality to this image that I captured while I was wandering through the Ore Mountains in the Czech Republic.’

Autumn Morning ‘I love autumn colours mixed with the softness of early morning light. I captured this image in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park.’

Sunrays Hunter ‘It was on an autumn morning in the Giant Mountains, Czech Republic. I took two images but preferred this one, as my friend added a sense of scale.’

Morning in the Passo Sella ‘This was the crisp view that I snapped as the sun rose, looking from the Sella Pass towards the Marmolada Glacier in the Italian Dolomites.’
